My kids absolutely love lemonade.Come to think of it – so do I!
Actually let me just clarify that. I love homemade, chemical free, real food lemonade. Not the packaged poison variety Schweppes markets, which consists of carbonated water, a heap of sugar, lemon juice from concentrate food acid, fake flavours and preservatives (1).
Or worse, the diet variety.Get a load of these ingredients:
Ingredients:
Carbonated Water, Lemon Juice from Concentrate (2%), Citric Acid, Fla-vourings, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Sweeteners (Aspartame, Sodium Saccharin), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Antioxidant (As corbic Acid). Contains a Source of Phe-nylalanine.” (2)

I see a lot of fake sugar there, which is even worse for you than actual sugar. In fact, this 2009 study shows those consuming diet soft drinks are 67% more likely of developing Type 2 diabetes.Seriously!
And that’s notto mention the other health risks associated with consuming fake food.Aspartame alone accounts for over 75 percent of the adverse reactions to food additives reported to the Food & Drug Administration. Many of these reactions are very serious, in-cluding seizures and death (3).
please please stay away from fake sugars! There are so many natural ways satis-fying a sugar craving, I promise you there is no need to reach for this stuff.
